Our History

City of Praise, Cateram was established in 2019 by RCCG Kings Tower Assembly.

This makes us a family parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God with Headquarters in Lagos Nigeria.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God was founded in 1952 by Reverend Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi. He got the name of the church through a vision from God, and he was able to write it down. Though he could not read nor write. In this visitation, God also said to him that this church would go to the ends of the earth and that when the Lord Jesus Christ appeared in glory, He would meet the church.
